Talent camp Odense

Then Talent Camp Odense is for you!

Talent Camp Odense is a 5-day camp hosted by Film Workshop Odense during the Oscar-qualifying Odense International Film Festival in week 35 (25th – 30th of August 2025). 


Talent Camp Odense offers: 

  •  Workshops with industry professionals

  • Insightful masterclasses to sharpen your skills 

  • Networking events with international filmmakers and industry experts

  • Film screenings at the festival 

Who can apply?
Application is open to filmmakers from all over the world between the age of 21-30 years.

Grimstad Pitching Forum

Do you want an unforgettable experience and the chance to pitch your short film in front of European industry professionals?

The STE Pitching Forum takes place in Grimstad from June 11th–12th, 2025, during the Norwegian Short Film Festival.

Pitch your short film project (up to 20 minutes) for a chance to win a 2,500 EUR production grant and expand your international network.

The STE Pitching Forum offers:

  • Expert-led workshops to refine your pitch
  • A 2,500 EUR production grant for the winning pitch
  • Access to festival screenings and events
  • Directors, producers, or screenwriters with at least two produced short films


Applicants must be between 22 and 32 years old.

Deadline: April 21st, 2025

European Short Pitch Coproduction Forum at Leiden Shorts

Monday, June 2, and Tuesday, June 3

European Short Pitch’s Coproduction Forum dedicates a space to short film projects in post-production to provide the selected filmmakers with a platform to find a co-producer, a distribution and sales partner, to complete the film and to promote it on a European level.


European Short Pitch aims to bring young European talents into the spotlight, give them a high-end promotion opportunity, and develop short film coproduction in Europe.

  • Attending the pitch event (not pitching yourself)
  • One-on-one sessions with key international players in the short film industry (including producers, sales agents, distributors, and programmers)
  • Talks
  • Networking activities

Script Room

Practical information

The Virtual Script Room will take place on May 22st, 09.00-16.00 online. Participants will join from different European countries.

Date: Wednesday May 22, 09.00-16.00 CEST.


Location: Online, via Zoom.
Participation fee: free for Club CineSud-members. In case you are no member, but are selected, you need to register as a Club-member promptly. By submitting your project, you agree on this condition.

Apply

The deadline to apply is May 4th, 23.59 PM. Selected participants will be notified on May 14.

  • Submit a short film script of up to 15 pages. The script will have to be submitted in English.
  • Include a brief description of yourself as a filmmaker, limited to half a page.

SCREEN TALENT EUROPE

Screen Talent Europe (STE) is a network of film workshops and media centers in Europe. Currently there are 16 partners across 9 countries.

We are here to help filmmakers across Europe connect with one another through international talent development projects such as film production camps, pitching forums, and networking events. 

STE is interested in hearing ideas and desires of filmmakers like you, to develop international collaboration within the European filmmaking scene.
